THE THEME FOR THE FIRST ISSUE IS "FREE FOR ALL"

In a world of clean layouts, perfectly curated images, endless product placement, and long sold-out limited editions, we felt something was missing. So we made it our mission to question not just magazines, but how we see design, collaboration, distribution and what it means to create and publish without rules.

We truly believe everyone, no matter background, title, experience or training, has an artistic voice worth publishing and printing. A vision worth showing. And that every person deserves a magazine that is unique.

Art isn't one-size-fits-all. So why should magazines?

That's why we launched Torrent – an open space, a living canvas, a growing archive of submission from artist, photographers, designers, writers, researchers – anyone with something to say, show or shape.

Just simply submit your work, we share selected works on our website after review, then we carefully craft a printed edition, each one totally personalized, no repeats, no copies and never „standard issues".

Q: How is each Magazine different?
A: Every Magazine that get's ordered is unique in the sense that the content is treated differently and the layout varies.

Q: What's your job behind it?
A: Well, we curate, distribute, promote, produce and make sure it's visible.

Q: Why the Name Torrent?
A: Well. We could explain really a lot and why cause the name really means a lot to us and it really is interesting and you would never guess why and it came all along when we – maybe some other day.

Q: I mainly work in Video, can i still submit my Work?
A: Yes, of course! Just note that currently we only can include and feature Images in our Magazine and on our Website.

Q: My submission wasn't included in the Magazine, why?
A: We understand your concerns and unfortunately can't guarantee a feature in the Final Print. In the end it comes down to multiple factors as we review each entry by its own. To get more information on why your submission wasn't featured please contact us via Mail.

Q: How do I make it in the Magazine?
A: There's no secret formula, as we review and curate each entry carefully.

Q: I want my entry to be deleted from the Website.
A: Bummer! But no worries, just shoot us a E-Mail and we'll make sure it's off as soon as possible.
